MWC 2018 (Mobile World Congress) is one of the biggest events on the mobile industry calendar. With the show taking place from February 26 to March 1, we are pleased to announce Be-Bound will be there with Qwant at the booth located Hall 5 Stand 5B61. Our team will display some demos and be available to you to talk about how Be-Bound too is already creating a better future in emerging and developed countries.
As we inch towards the d-date, the Be-Bound team is getting ready to attend and meet you.
With the success of the 2017’s Barcelona show as well as its steady growth since its debut in 1987, this year’s event will introduce 2300+ exhibitors to an expected 108,000+ visitor-count. Organised by the GSMA, it will also represent 400+ operator companies, 10,000+ operator attendees, for a total of 208 countries represented.
Be-Bound believes constant and affordable connectivity are key to unlocking the economic potential of hundreds of millions around the world. Bringing balance into this world of inequality starts by bridging the digital divide and connecting the unconnected to the mobile internet networks that power modern economy -from electricity and financial services to social networks that enable knowledge and economy sharing and e-government’s services that reinforce democracy and social justice.
This is a goal we want to fight for.
Thanks to our technology, this is a goal we can contribute to, today.
Qwant and Be-Bound are two French companies that promise to transform the way the world understands and uses the internet. Together, they are co-innovating to develop new projects aiming at reducing the digital divide and preserving digital sovereignty for countries and data privacy for companies.

Designed and developed in France, Qwant is the first European search engine with its own indexing technology, which protects the privacy of its users by refusing all tracking devices, including for advertising. Contrary to the main search engines on the market, Qwant does not install cookies on the user browser, does not want to know who the user is or what he/she does, and does not keep individual logs of user queries. It respects neutrality. Qwant considers all indexed websites and services with no discrimination, without altering the ranking of results according to its own interests.
