Be-Bound was at the ViVaTech expo in Paris from May 24-26 to present Augmented Connectivity to the world, and the Dor2Dor project before its official launch in August.
CEO of Be-Bound, Yazid Chir, Eric Leandri – CEO of Qwant, and Bruno Nabagné Koné, Minister of Communications and the Digital Economy of the Ivory Coast, introduced Dor2Dor on the Qwant space. The project promises to revolutionize deliveries with an innovative logistical platform operated by the Poste of the Ivory Coast, that will be accessible everywhere, with guaranteed secure payments upon ordering, and delivery within 48 hours, anywhere across the country. The project will be open to all : citizens, government, and businesses of all sizes. All of this is made possible by combining Be-Bound Augmented Connectivity with the technology of other partners working on the project.
The integration of Augmented Connectivity into the Dor2Dor app will allow users to shop and pay with their phone no matter the location or mobile network. Connected to the Last Mile, Be-Bound’s far-reaching technology covers 95% of the world’s population, giving access to mobile apps and services no matter where you are.
At the BNP Paribas Lab, the theme this year was #PositiveBanking. Be-Bound was located at the Lab as a representation of a social business with a solution to make a positive impact., Isaac Gnamba Yao – CEO of La Poste Côte d’Ivoire (the postal service of the Ivory Coast)- took part in a roundtable discussion where he explained how the Dor2Dor project will have a positive impact on the local economy. For the Ivory Coast, Dor2Dor is going to be a powerful catalyst for change and growth. Deloitte estimates that Dor2Dor will create nearly 500,000 new jobs, 100,000 of which will be created directly for the project, with an estimated GDP increase of 5%. It is a fantastic opportunity for Inclusive Growth as Dor2Dor particularly encourages the inclusion of youth, and accelerates their capacity to launch or develop their own economic activities across territories.
Be-Bound is proud to contribute to this revolutionary project with its partners : Qwant, La Poste CI, what3words, Deloitte, Sycapay, Inova to bring better deliveries to the Ivory Coast and connect the unconnected to the last mile. Social inclusion, digital inclusion and financial inclusion; all live within the Dor2Dor project, and together will foster a stronger Ivorian ecosystem and economy.
